Torah Fund
What is the Torah Fund? Why is it important?
Everyone has the opportunity to participate in preserving, promoting and perpetuating Conservative Judaism by giving to the Torah Fund Campaign. Torah Fund helps supports programs and student scholarships at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, as well as other locations in this country, Europe, South America and Israel.
Torah Fund began as a scholarship fund in 1942. In 1963 it merged with the Mathilde Schecter Residence Hall Campaign, which provided housing for undergraduate students. Over time the campaign identified needs and raised funds for a variety of residence halls and libraries.
By giving to Torah Fund you are helping the Jewish leaders and educators of tomorrow. All donations to Torah Fund are used solely for the campaign.
